About Soul Prophecy Collection

A PERSONAL ILLUSTRATION PROJECT by Hazel Evans

In September 2019 I began drawing for myself again. I felt called to put myself on the page once more, because whenever I do this (see other examples below) it always tells me something deeper about myself and it was time to go inside using the creative process as a guide.

Some might call it intuition, some might call it channelling ... for me it's a way of connecting to something greater than myself, to tell me more about myself and the world around me.

THE JOURNEY OF THE FIRST SOUL PROPHECY PORTRAIT

This piece, to the left, it took me on a deep inner journey, surrendering to where the pen wanted to take me as visions flowed into me. It took me on a journey through fear, and illumination. I felt myself dying. Tears flowed as I drew, watching the illustration emmerge. I sat and stared at it for a long time. Letting it resonate through me. I saw other women as I was drawing and knew I had to share this process with them, for them. I smiled and knew that my work was no longer about me, and so the Soul Prophecy Collection began.

Art is a potential portal to radical transformation.

I go on a journey into the page with the ink.

I don't know where it will take me.

BECOME PART OF THE COLLECTION

13 places available for commission

You will recieve your portrait, created as an oracle reading and I involve you in the process. You then become part of the Soul Prophecy collection and I send you a digital version and signed print.

This is an intuitive visionary project. My intention is that this collection forms a beautiful and powerful oracle deck for women to consult. I feel guided by the flow of the project, curious where it will lead and what wants to be revealed in the process of this creation.

COMMISSION HERE

THE PROCESS

Dear wonderful woman,

Thank you for becoming part of this collection of Soul Prophect art. The intention is to create an oracle deck for women and I am delighted that you will be part of this.

I cannot plan anything, as soon as I try to make things too fixed, the energy stops flowing, so I just have to follow what the journey of the art tells me. I have no idea where it will lead or what each image will look like.  It is a process os surrender for us both to see what wants to be revealed as I work with your image and tune into your soul essence.

BEFORE: This experience starts with an online meeting, where I share the project in more depth and I start to tune into your energies for the artwork and we choose a photograph of you. Then I may message you when I start working on your piece so you can tune in to the energies if you like too.

DURING: This is a process of surrender. I don't know what will come through to put on the page, I just follow what I see, sense and feel. This is a scary process for me sometimes as the personality wants to check, 'Is this okay? Can I really draw that? Will they like it?' But it is not about that. The work is of course personal, but it feels like it expands out into the greater field of consciousness for women's wisdom. Flowers, plants, trees, all nature, animals, objects becoming as medicine and wisdom for the viewer and connecting deeply into the wisdom of the body. I don't know what it all represents ... maybe you will?

AFTER: When I have comleted the picture, I will message you with the image and I will add it to the collection here. I invite you take a few moments, or more, to sit with the image. Let it come in. Feel, see and listen how it speaks to you. Then let me know what arises for you, as your wisdom and reading of the image could well be added to the words I channel for each image ... potentially contributing towards an oracle for women.

THEN: We sit back and enjoy! Bathe in the new images that come in and see how the circle of women, and the wisdom they bring, grows and expands the collection.

Thank you for becoming a part of this circle of women, red thread ♥️

How and why I have done this over previous years?

I don't know why, but there comes a time when I put myself on the page and see what happenes around me. I watch the pen draw lines dots and marks that translate what I am sensing and feeling, and then somehow, when I sit back and look at the picture, the picture tells me where I am and what is happening. Here are some examples below from 2012 and 2016. Now when I look back over the years since when I first began this process, I see how I have changed, grown, matured, and now feels the time to welcome many more women onto the page.
